New Works from Brad Novak Football 2010 Eye Chart for NZ in South Africa 1.1
This intriguing artwork is based on the Snellen eye charts that doctors and optometrists use to measure eye sight. But in an interesting twist, Brad has utilised imagery from his own oeuvre, the much loved game of Football, Aotearoa and South Africa. Brad is one of only 5 leading contemporary NZ artists chosen by the official FIFA art licensee for the World Cup 2010 to create an alternate artwork for this high profile international event (the hosts of the Football World Cup in 2010).
