Only 12 months ago, on 28 January, Marty Ball, the owner of Momentum Framing Gallery, sadly passed away.
His partner Debra Stearns picked up the pieces and carried on running the business on her own.
It is with great sadness that we announce that Deb passed away yesterday, almost a year after her partner.

Intrepid sailor and art lover, Deb originally hails from the States and made her way to Aotearoa via the top secret and circuitous Galapagos Islands-to-Tauranga route.
Deb's life as a Gallerista started in 2006, when she and her husband Marty purchased Momentum Framing.
They worked together expanding the framing business to include a successful limited edition print gallery, driven by their belief that quality art should be available, enjoyed and affordable.
Since Marty's sudden passing away in January 2011, Deb has continued to follow this philosophy, taking pleasure in her interaction with established and emerging artists and helping everyone from the newly curious to serious art lovers select the perfect piece and appropriate framing.
Deb is committed to the ongoing building of her knowledge in this exciting and constantly evolving area, ensuring that Momentum maintains it's respected position as the specialists in contemporary and collectable limited edition prints.

The awesome Marty Ball passed away suddenly on 28 January 2011 and is hugely missed by the team at Momentum Gallery and Framing, his many friends and family in Aotearoa and the UK.
